Antique ea. 1800' Cast Iron Mooring Anchor, Rare Shape<br>For your consideration is a very interesting and rare antique anchor<br>made of cast iron with one arm with a fluke and the other arm is bent / folded<br>It was meant to be used for mooring in shallow waters, hence the rounded spike to prevent an eventual damage to the hull<br>Wrought iron loop at the top<br>Great Maritime and Naval History collectible<br>Circa mid 19th century, Anglo-American<br>All original<br>Measurements:<br>Approx. 36" high with the loop, 19" fluke to arm, 4" thick<br>Weighs about 26 lbs.<br>Condition:<br>Very Good overall.<br>Please see<br>photos.
